RedHat Fedora Core 3 ISOs added to E-learning Library for LinuxCBT Customers

Monroe, Conn., November 12, 2004, - LinuxGenius, LLC is proud to offer our customers high-speed download access to RedHat Fedora Core 3 ISO images.
Bleeding-edge LinuxCBT customers can download RedHat Fedora Core 3 ISO images in 4 CDs and/or 1 DVD via our e-learning forums.
Our customers should use the tools that we've shown you, including Wget and/or LFTP to obtain the images; both support checkpoint download recovery in the event of a broken download, and, use cdrecord/dvdrecord when the images have been downloaded
If using Windows, consider using Filezilla and Nero or compatible ISO-burning tool to obtain and prepare RedHat Fedora Core 3 discs.
We would like to thank Cliff Bailey and David Sease for suggesting to make the various ISOs available for download to our customers. Consequently, we will also make LinuxCBT E-learning updates downloadable as ISO images via the E-learning forums.

Remote Desktop Protocol Implementation Upgrade

RDesktop enables Linux clients the ability to converse with Windows systems using the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). Consequently, one can initiate RDP-enabled screen emulated sessions with one or more Windows systems supporting the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP).

Cacti SNMP/Network Monitoring Graphing Tool

Cacti extends the capabilities of Multi Router Traffic Grapher (MRTG) by providing a consolidated, streamlined network monitoring interface that is based primarily on SNMP, and alternatively on Perl and shell scripts. The library contains 9 videos running approximately 2.5 hours in duration.
LinuxCBT customers will learn how to assemble, compile and install all Cacti prerequisites; including PHP, Net-SNMP, RRDTool, Perl packages, and MySQL.
